Corvallis, OR to host 2020 Oregon Senior Games

In partnership with the National Senior Games Association, Visit Corvallis is proud to announce the City will host the Oregon Senior Games in August 2020.

Participants will compete in various events at Corvallis’ athletic facilities for a chance to qualify for the National Senior Games, a biennial event that brings together the top master’s league athletes from across the country. “Visit Corvallis is excited to contribute to the promotion of healthy active aging by bringing [this event] to our city,” says Sales Manager Morgan Baker.

Registration for the event will open in March 2020 with the competition expected to take place in August. Prospective volunteers should reach out to Morgan Baker by email.

About the National Senior Games

The NSGA is a non-profit organization dedicated to motivating active adults to lead a healthy lifestyle through the senior games movement. The Games, a 20-sport, biennial competition for men and women 50 and over, is the largest multi-sport event in the world for seniors. NSGA Member Organizations hold annual games with qualifying competitions in the year preceding The Games. Athletes that meet specific criteria while participating in the State Senior Games qualify to participate.
