NSGA Recommends: Take the Falls Free Checkup

Active seniors are less likely to have a serious injury after having a fall. Maintaining an active lifestyle by participating in physical activity, such as Senior Games sports, can lower your risk of falling.

According to the Senior Athlete Research Exam (SAFE), conducted in conjunction with National Senior Games since 2011, only 10% of Senior Games participants report falling within a year. This is one-third the rate of their age peers!

NSGA encourages all Senior Game athletes 65 and older to take the Falls Free Checkup: a 12 question assessment to check your risk of falls and receive a personalized report.
