Oregon Senior Games: Track & Field

  • Sunday: Hammer Throw and Javelin
  • All athletes must check-in to their individual events at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start

Fees

  • Registration Fee: $45 ($60 if registered after May 25)
  • Event Fee: $20 per event

Registration Rules

  • Registration Deadline: The registration deadline for all events is July 31, 2026.
  • No on-site registration is authorized.
  • All athletes must check-in to their individual events at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start.
  • If a participant wishes to be seeded, he/she must enter their best time during the past year during registration. Heats will be seeded according to times submitted. If no time is submitted, seeding will be by age group or random.
  • All runners must wear assigned numbers for the distance races.
  • Athletes must provide their own implements in order to meet proper weight classes or make arrangements to share with another athlete. For implement weight information, please click the NSGA Rulebook link under Format/Rules.

Qualifying Information

  • 2026 is a qualifying year for the 2027 National Senior Games.

Format/Rules

  • USA Track and Field (USATF) rules and equipment standards apply, except as modified herein.
  • The order of event and approximate start times will be posted at the stadium.
  • Competitors must not wear clothing that could impede the view of the judge.
  • The meet will be conducted in accordance with USA Track & Field rules, except as modified herein at the Rulebook link below.
